Welcome to Landels!

"A place full of people who care about, look after and root for one another.  A place full of people who work together for the good of the whole, in times of need as well as times of celebration.  A place full of people who acknowledge and applaud not just accomplishments, but efforts as well."

Common Core Standards

The presentations from our Common Core meetings are posted on our In-School Programs page.  If you would like to find more information about Common Core Standards in California, please visit the California PTA (CAPTA) website where you will find what your child will be learning per grade level as well as the new student assessments.  Stay tuned for our next Common Core meeting.

Student Emergency Cards

Please make sure the student emergency card on file with the office is up to date and has at least 3 contacts listed.  If there is an emergency, your child will only be released to names on the card.  ID is required for pick up.  The student will not be released without adult ID.

Please stop in the office to update your card.

SBAC Testing

SBAC testing (part of the CAASPP state test) for grades 3-5 will take place from April 21-May 15.  Students can practice at home for this test. Learn more about the SBAC Test here.

Project Cornerstone

We kicked off the school year with a Project Cornerstone sponsored event! Steve Seskin, singer, songwriter and author of Don't Laugh at Me, entertained the students and talked about building a better community by respecting each other's differences.

Teach empathy through books, build a caring community! Volunteer to be an ABC reader!
